My neighbors and I hired Ryan to paint the exterior of our eight unit condo building in Margate that’s posted on his Facebook page, however he didn’t complete the job so we’re unsure why he’s advertising it. Ryan is unprofessional, over promises/under delivers, and has bad business conduct. Our Home Owners Association had a budget to paint our building which Ryan agreed to. Cut and dry. Ryan and his worker started on Monday March 18th, had the building painted by Friday the 22nd. However the problem came afterwards. There were drips of paint on the ground, paint on the railings and gutters, and touch up work, like paint missing behind the gutters, that needed to be completed. They even used duct tape instead of painters tape which left behind tape residue all over the railings. Ryan left on Friday and promised to come back the following week to power wash and touch up. We walked the building and he was very convincing that he would be back explaining how he was going to buy white paint to clean up the paint on the gutters and power wash. I trusted he would be back so I paid him in full since there wasn’t much work left to do. Instead he continued to delay/cancel multiple times over the course of the last 4 weeks and then stopped responding. My mistake for paying him in full, he took the money and ran. He’s lost any referrals from myself or my neighbors would have given him. When I told him this via text, his response was “what referrals…lol”. This is unacceptable, childish, and someone I/we would not conduct any future business with. We would not recommend him.
